Since I don't have a vk account, but my codeabbey account was readily available I created this post to inform you that I'd like to make a donation to the site. It's been a favorite passtime of mine for the last couple of years. Paypal would be preferable, since I use it elsewhere but I'm open to suggestions. Keep up the good work!

Hi Friend!

This is very pleasant and generous suggestion! :)

Sorry for I still haven't figured out correct way to set up some "Donation button" - for it looks in our country PayPal only allows "business" type accounts for legally registered business. There is nothing wrong with it, but it seems to be unwise doing so, because taxes would be greater than current site expences - supposedly $400 annually. No sense to propose people donate to cover taxes needed for using donation button. :)

I wish I better understand our financial laws and accounting!

So I created dedicated "donation" page and put "paypal.me" link here. Hope it will work and is correct way (any hints are welcome).

P.S. thanks for sharing your info at your profile. I noticed it about a month ago and put it to my notes to check how Matematica works at RPi. Mine is still laying idle in table drawer :)

UPD: just got your transfer, great!

Meanwhile I've found our templates for "Benefactor" certificates - if you would like it to be added to your account, please tell which of two is fine for you:

Nothing against bare naked ladies, but I think I'll go with the first one. It's more aligned with the whole "abbey" theme. Thanks for all your hard work on this site. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

P.S. I 've never used a "desktop" version of Mathematica, however since the Pi 3 it's very responsive and a delight to use overall, given the specs of the hardware of course. You can't really expect it to do heavy graphics stuff and not pull your hair out. For codeabbey material it's fine. Easily one of the highest level languages out there and -dare I say- fairly easy to learn. I'd pick it for teaching programming over other languages any time.

Surely, here it is - link also in profile! The matter is, these (and few more) pictures were created by some young girl and I never could understand her imagination - neither the hooded figure, nor this severe beautie... :)

I'd pick it for teaching programming over other languages any time.

It is very curious. I've got acquainted with few dozens languages over couple decades - but never stumbled across Matematica (or is it properly called Wolfram?) though heard of it. I used Matlab/Octave however, but for general programming it is somewhat clumsy of course...

I'll definitely should go and see it in action, thanks for your hint!

UPD it seems Matematica is not free tool? Or it is fre for RPi?
