Congratulations on this very impressive milestone.

You have created an amazing site which has given a great deal of pleasure to many people (me included!). I never cease to be astounded by your boundless energy and enthusiasm.

There is a wealth of excellent material on the site. It is a pity that more people are not aware of its existence.

I look forward to the next 100 problems with keen anticipation.

Dear Clive! Thanks a lot for that many kind words - and you know well we probably never get here without so much energy, enthusiasm, bright ideas and even complete problems - from all the fellows of our secret society :)

But we don't like "round" numbers, so let's quickly add couple more! One migrated and one very simple from interview!

333 is the real target :) - but the first 300 were a lot of fun, Dankeschön!

Comment on problem 302: the link https://openabbey.com/wiki/dsp-filter is broken.

I love the pedagogic way the problems are introduced. I learned a lot doing them :)

Ow, thanks a lot for hint about broken link - and sorry! Found the source in saved copy and uploaded it here, fixed the link - should be fine now!

333 is the real target :)

Curiously, I thought exactly the same - even started thinking we may have some new rank for it, but failed to invent the title at once. One clumsy idea is that 333 becomes TLG in ancient greek numerals (I just looked up, don't know this by heart) which corresponds to abbreviation sometimes used for telegram - thus, perhaps, Messenger... But really I'm open to suggestions!

Bitteschön :)

Ha-ha, that's real discovery for me, thanks - I honestly felt it makes them somewhat dull. Moreover, if I remember correctly, you yourself are working in education field?

Indeed, as a math teacher, how to make obvious complex things is a daily struggle, and I find it fascinating.

Ok, your mind works in mysterious ways! :D Is that the case with all professional programers? Some sort of professional perversion? Well then, since you're open to suggestions, the real goal should be problem 512, a power of 2 no less, and it should definitely be about fibonacci numbers! Get a head start!

Seriously though, congratulations are in order for any kind of milestone regarding this site. For me, the rate of problems added creates the feeling of unreachability that is often used to describe knowledge, if you're familiar with the analogy, that of a circle where if you start from the center it's actually impossible to reach the perimeter because the circle keeps growing in radius. Which simply means that new problems are added faster than I can solve them. Can't complain though, because the site allows two very important things: to work at my own pace, research and read all I want before coming back to the problem, and write in my language/s of choice.

I would be very interested to read some sort of memoir about the site, how it got started, what motivated you the most, who helped you along the way, and what in your opinion would be the ideal form of it, sort of a development roadmap. Think about it.

Konstantine, Hi!

As for "reachability / impossibility", you know, the last year put me into the same boat when our gurus started to invent complete problems. Some of them I can solve, with others I understand I probably can, with certain effort and there is the third class yet - those for which I clearly understand I have no clue yet.

As for "memoir" - thanks for suggestion, though I suspect it may be somewhat dull :) Though it definitely may be somewhat useful to share "what went well and what went wrong" and some technical considerations etc...

I'll try to compile my recollections. Meanwhile here is a screenshot of main page back in December 2013, three months after project started. Not that much changed, ha-ha :)
