Hello! It's me again.

To respond to previous post, I am quite surprised and maybe a bit entertained that there is problem with cheating. Only cartoon Tom and Jerry comes to my mind when thinking about it, not really sure why.

But now seriously. The reason why this topic is, that I accidentaly clicked wrong google account and saw this. Pay attention to "position" in top left which also reminded me of ranking system which says that you are better than x.xxx % of users. Maybe it would be better to consider removing rank of peasant or at least don't count these users since most of acounts are just hocus-pocus (I don't really want to offend anyone) but this situation is making this ranking system nearly useless. I wonder what you think about it? I like the idea of these ranks but those numbers are.. ehm you've seen the picture.

Hello Radovan!

(quite glad to see you again btw :))

Me too. Though I remember many years ago in university training contest I with teammates tried to steal and submit some colleague's code, but I never had idea to repeat as I've seen that I don't understand anything in his code and though it worked, I don't even like the style. And surely the judge have apprehended and removed this submission anyway :)

Through the years I understand that (at least in our fast-paced industry) it is not important what marks you achieve at various tests, rather it is important what skills you build. Because no one pays for marks. All pay for skills :)

But it seems we had tough time with huge onflow of fellows from a couple of education institutions this summer.

Maybe it would be better to consider removing rank of peasant or at least don't count these users

For now we really don't account for accounts (pun) with no submitted solutions. However probably your approach is more wise. First problem (A+B) can anyway be submitted just by copying it from instruction. Though I'm surprised there are people who fail passing this with several attempts...

Thanks for suggestion - I'll try to decide what should be "cut-off" level and how better put this... Besides anything this may also make rank calculation less cpu-hard. Probably no one cares about being at the 10000-th place in the ranking table anyway...

Hello!

*For now we really don't account for accounts (pun) * really good one! :D

I'll try to decide what should be "cut-off" level I am wondering what it will be!

How is this anti cheat system working? Does it detect duplicate codes submitted? I think if someone wants to cheat there is always a way around, but I like the idea of supervision, people at least know that we care.

(quite glad to see you again btw :)) Yes ehm, I am quite ashmed to say that I am stuck on task that I tough it would be easy and rhyme to word easy, is lazy so at least I check forum from time to time.

btw maybe I already mentioned it, but I really like the design of the page, the colors used, gifs fonts but most importantly those icons and pictures as ranks and those banners.
