Website Timeout

Great website! however its virtually unusable because im getting constant timeouts (ERRCONNECTIONTIMED_OUT) _when accessing problems and in particular when running code (Python). No other websites are affected like this, is this a known issue?

I've been having the same problem recently. I wonder if this is specific to the UK.
I've noticed this from the USA as well.
Yes Friends, noticed this myself week or two ago, initially thinking it is something about my internet provider.
Investigating this more closely during past day or two, but with no clear idea yet. Started wondering if it affects others too. Well, thanks, now I know :)
Shall write to hosting provider now, regretfully I feel difficulty explaining what exactly is broken :)
BTW if anyone can spent some minutes testing this issue from different browsers, share your observations please.
UPD: most probably no difference in browsers etc. After a hour of slow chatting wit support they said it is probably inexplicable server issue and they shall escalate it to further tech personnel. Gave me "ticket ID" and vague hint that generally they try to resolve issues in 24 hours.

Hello! i have been on the website for about 1 hour and it seems to be working fine - thank you for fixing.
Stephen, thanks for news! Really if it is fixed I shall pass your thanks to HostGator's (site's hosting provider) support, as issue seems to be on their side. However yesterday they wrote they reproduced and fixed the issue, and on checking I found it still fails... So let's watch if things go smooth for few more hours :)
Thanks a lot for alerting this and checking how is it going. Due to "intermittent" nature of the issue it was much confusing and difficult to figure out what goes wrong.
