Hello, since I'm here I improved my programming and alghoritm knowledges. I'm 21 years old, living in Ukrain, Dnipro.

I have studying for 4 years in DIIT university at software developer. I lost almost 3 years, because I like games. But sometimes I had to

learn some books for do my homework. But about 2 month ago I left my work and tried to go on courses, but couldn't pass c++ exam at first, and english interview at second course(she said I have pre intermediate lvl).

At last I solved 145 tasks and began my own way in programming world. I hope I can find new work which is connected with programming after 2 month.

After every hard solved task I was learning every stranger C++ code and taking the best and simple solving in my head that became useful in future tasks.

My new goal is to take top 50 :) I know that certificate is nothing but for me it's a little step to better future. Also I'm learning QT

and want to create gui projects for some home needs and for other people. I think that for first time I have to recive some expirience

in some company and then go to freelance. I read some books about C++ which suggest me one of the course after not passed exam

and it help me with understanding C++ abilities. Thanks for this resource that helps to improve yourself.

Can you suggest some similar sites with tasks for gui and with certificates of c++?

And could you give me feedback about my english please? :)

My name is Igor

Surname is Shapovalov

Country is Ukraine

Do I have to update this request if no one answer?

Hello, brother Igor,

I read your certificate request text and source codes and I think that your skills in C++ and english are improved.

Your english is even better than mine. But you still have to improve. You skip several periods in end of sentences, you wrote word "experience" incorrectly.

As for suggesting similar sites with tasks for GUI, I don't think that automatic testing of GUI application is much popular in online judges. I once, out of curiosity, wrote a bot on C++ that emulates user actions in Notepad, including typing text and choosing menu options, and it was a big, big pain :(. And Notepad is considered to be a simplest GUI application.

And finally, about updating the request. You don't have to update your request. The head priest may be off for quite a time - several days and even weeks. But one day he will return and will read all requests. All you need is some patience. Please, have some patience and you will be rewarded.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it :) It was real fail with "experience" word. As for similar sites for gui I meant just tasks at least.

I just want some examples from easy to hard lvl for improving my GUI skills, because I can't come up with easy tasks and follow them. What do you think

about codingame site? It looks good enough, have test cases, big community. And what can you tell about linkedin? Do someone can give me job requeste

there and does it have any sense for my lvl(I just saw that this certificate can be placed there :D)?

Here is a listing of programming tasks resources taken from GeekBrains:

C Puzzles
Code Abbey
CodeChef
CodeCombat
CodeForces
Codewars
Coding Bat
CodinGame
...22 more resources.

Here is a listing of programming tasks resources taken from Programming Zen:

CoderByte
CodeChef
CodeForces
CodinGame
LeetCode
Programmr
Project Euler
Top Coder
...7 more resources.

As you can see, CodinGame is represented in both listings. Must be a good resource, then.

And LinkedIn seem to be a nice choice for making a business contacts, for what I read about it today. But I don't have any real experience dealing with LinkedIn, so I can't be sure. If you lived in Russia, I could offer you HeadHunter.ru or SuperJob.ru, but for Ukraine I don't know.

Sorry, it seems that I was not a big help for you with these questions. As you can see, my knowledge about good internet resources is limited.

Igor, Hi!

Please, sorry for long delay (and thanks to qwerty_one for encouragement and advice meanwhile)

Your certificate is ready and attached to your profile, my congratulations!

I lost almost 3 years

That's not much - I lost more due to poor idea of choosing university twice (probably programmers need none nowadays) and army in between :) I got my first engineering job at 28 I think.

Also I'm learning QT and want to create gui projects

That's not bad choice but note that much more projects are nowadays either in web or in mobile so it will be wise not to ignore these branches too :) Though both are not quite aligned with your preferred language C++. But it is just a minor trouble.

I think that for first time I have to recive some expirience in some company and then go to freelance

That is a good idea. I believe that your current level is adequate for junior position at some small or large company. Just don't get frustrated if you are not immediately hired after first few interviews. It's normal. Just keep on trying :)

Can you suggest some similar sites with tasks for gui and with certificates of c++?

Well, I dare say you really should switch and search for job :) You will learn a lot in your first industrial project. Solving problems is ok, but real project tasks are somewhat different. A lot of debugging skills, testing etc. Sometimes it is dull, but it is anyway different and useful experience.

And could you give me feedback about my english please? :)

It's quite sufficient for position in international project and thus you have better choice of jobs. Of course I'm not a native speaker - but I'd say I've seen colleagues (even managers) with much more flaws in language.

Just notice English or Ukrainian are capitalized in English!

I could offer you HeadHunter.ru

HeadHunter works in Ukraine also, so it should be tried. I worked with colleagues in various cities in Ukraine (including yours) - so I'd suggest DataArt, EPAM, Grid Dynamics companies among outsourcers where you can try to send your CV!

P.S. also elaborated my thought a bit in private in VK
