I worked as math teacher for six years. But now, I am academician at education faculty in Turkey. I have been coding for 3 years, as hobby. My husband teached me how to code in pyhton. He is engineer. We are studying on coding together in our free time, especially in codeabbey.

Fatma, Hi!

Sorry for delay, there is small issue about your solutions. Could you please help me to understand: Some of your solutions are almost the same as johankor's.

Are both these accounts yours (which is not forbidden), or the second belongs to different person (in which case request for certificate is slightly incorrect)? In the second case I'd propose you solve different tasks instead of those which has identical code to fix the issue.

Johankor is my husband's account. We are solving problems together. If it is against the rules, I understand, but I didn't mean to cheat you. If you can't issue me any certificate, no problem. Thanks.

Ah, I got it, thanks for explanation!

Well, it's a bit puzzling, but I believe there are at least two approaches :)

  1. We can issue "joint" certificate putting both your name and your honorable husband's name on it (just tell please how to spell it). While it may seem a bit funny, it is not silly - and so we shall pay respect to your husband's efforts on teaching you - and anyway this would be a kind of family heirloom :)

  2. Or let's not count such of the solutions which are too similar to your husband's - then you'll just solve more problems to make total of 85 (not counting those which are obvious copies) - and get your personal certificate. (in this case please check your solutions and tell the IDs of all problems which shouldn't be counted)

Choose any of these please (first seems easier)!

If it is against the rules, I understand, but I didn't mean to cheat you.

No problem! Working together is not against the rules, but copying the code is against them :) you see, our "certificates" don't help much in your career (they are almost worthless), but it is your skill which is really valuable - and skill is much more improved by personally fighting the exercises, of course.

First of all, thanks for understanding, you are so kind.

Truth to be told, the most ethical method is to solve the different problems to reach 85 problems, but as you mentioned, it is difficult even for me to identify the problematic solutions. Therefore, I want to accept the other alternative which is a joint certificate as you suggested :)

My name is Fatma Koybasi Semin, and my husband's is Korhan Umut Semin. If you send a certificate for us, we would like to keep it as a family heirloom.

My husband also thank you, he was suprised to see his account was under investigation :)) As a family, we love CodeAbbey and would like to continue solving problems:)

Sincerely

Fatma, Hi!

Please sorry for delay. Regretfully I missed the previous message so thanks for bringing attention here!

Your certificate is attached to your profile, hopefully names are written correctly (including capitalization - right?) please tell if anything should be fixed.

Also sorry for inconvenience with paused accounts, forgotten too - should be good to continue now!
