Back to Introduce Yourself forum
Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Mike buy everyone calls me by my online name, Micky Scandal (or just micky). I'm fairly new to programming although I've been coding basic websites since I was about 12 years old.I've spent a large portion of my life doing almost everything possible to destroy it. But now, I've decided to make a change, and spend the same amount of energy I spent destroying my life into building a new, an better one. So over the last year I've started to get back into computers and programming. I decided to give ruby a shot and honestly I'm supprising myself at how well I'm coming along. Now I'm at a point where i feel I need to start reaching out and talking to other programmers, to start rebuilding my social circle on both a personal and professional basis. So expect to start hearing more from me as time goes on! Also, if anyone else who's at a similar level as me would be interested in colaberating on a project or if anyone needs more people on an already existing project I would love to help in any way I can and would be VERY greatfull for the experience!
P.S. This site is awesome! I've gained a lot of experience here so far and being able to view all your solutions to the problems has given me lots of insight! On several problems I've gone back an done them again to inplement a different and/or better way of doing the same things with your ideas! thanks again!
