It is yet a long road before us, but let's see where we are now.

(as you remember, nearest plans are outlined at the main page of demo site)

  1. New site prototype already allows adding tasks and their checkers, user registering and logging in.
  2. Moreover, it allows solving tasks (though checker now exists only for the first of them)
  3. There are rough pages with user list and user progress... Much to be improved yet.

Hopefully we'll be able to add some new problem here soon, just for fun and attention attraction :)

Organization and "legal" points to mention:

  • I'm trying to react to PR's (thanks for them) - though it takes time so please excuse me for slowness
  • There is "License" added, saying that the project is "open" mainly for educational purposes (and could be unsafe and buggy); funny, I've found it is not yet called "opensource" in OSI understanding - not sure how important it is.
  • There is "Copyright" added at the bottom, which really is a link leading to list of contributors at github.
  • Here are 2 important documents at wiki, Contribution Hints and Necessary Skills they give idea of how one can comparatively easily propose improvements (even spelling correction)

I dare to repeat: it is a long way yet - but it seems likely we'll be able to roll out the raw and incomplete, but safe and functional enough version to some real site somewhere at the end of month.

Here is a new small problem added to new site!

http://rodiongork.pythonanywhere.com/tasks/view/prg-4

Though the site is yet in prototype, everyone can already try solving it.

Eny volunteer should be able to register/login. Then checker should work... I hope my own solution is correct :)

Please login and solve 5 problems to be able to post at forum
