Hi Friends!

Few months ago our colleague Grae suggested the problem related to building lattice of words, like a crossword. He also kindly created generating code for input data as I had zero idea of how to approach this better.

Sorry for it took several months for this problem to come to life, but now it seems to be ready. It seems one of our new gurus already had solved it even when checker was incomplete (passing only single solution if several are possible).

Here it is - XWords #221

Now the checker should be fixed so it will accept any solution if there are more than one.

So I invite you to try it!

Also there may be some corrections from Grae as author for problem statement wording - I would readily apply them.

P.S. Page may load a bit slow if since it may take about 3-7 seconds from input generator to create new lattice, sorry for inconvenience.

The problem statement seems fine to me.
However, there may be an issue with the example. The example solution contains the word DUH (bottom left) but that word isn't in words-gy.txt.
My code fails to find a solution to the example, using words-gy.txt. Is the example solvable using words-gy.txt?

Grae, Hi! And thanks for speedy check!

It looks you are quite right - the example probably was generated by mistakenly using smaller file which I initially copied in confusion. I'll go and update the example then, thanks!
