- There is no clear definition of the length of the way through a garden. Should the number of words in a passphrase or the number of characters be used as a measure? Should separating dots be included in the count?
- Is the last letter combination leading to the exit a complete word, or can it be just a prefix of another word in the dictionary?
The length of the solution in characters (including dots, since they are part of the path) is what should be minimized.
The last word is in no way different from the other words, and so must be a complete word as well.
