Hey Rodion, I used to solve questions back in 2014-2015 using my facebook account ID back then there was no github integration I guess.

I no longer use my facebook account and now when logged in using that ID into codeabbet it caused my facebook to get activated :/

I would want the progress to be transferred to my github account.

Is there a way to transfer progress across the accounts, maybe some backend hack you could do :P

Thanks :)

Ashish, dear old friend, Hi :)

Very glad to hear from you! Hope you are doing quite well?

Yeah, for this you'll need just tell your github id or url of your profile - I'll put it into DB instead of facebook id and when you will login with Github it will work. I'm sorry this is not automated yet...

Hey Rodion,

This site hasnt changed much :D Brings back memories :)

Yeah I am doing fine, Hope you are doing well too.

I must say I wasnt expecting such a quick reply from you :D I wonder how many people you taught programming through Codeabbey and how many coders made from this site :)

Here is my github email id that I use ashish2199@gmail.com to login to github. Thanks for your support.

I dont think people would need such a functionality. I am the only one with such a odd request hehe

Thanks

Yep, on one hand I'm not dedicating much time to it regretfully - on other radical changes are not often welcomed by people, right :)

I've made a change in DB, from now you should be able to login via GH, but not via FB. If you are still logged in, it makes sense to try from different browser (so you can write back if something is wrong). If you won't be able to login and to write back - I'll try to connect to you via email in a day or two :)

Oh, I don't think too many :) though few persons have kindly written me they got job or internship, as they thought, in some way due to this site. Also there were several onflows of people directed obviously by university/college teachers. The good point is that I myself learnt a lot!

True, radical changes are often controversial.

I am now able to login with Github. Thanks, works like a charm.

I find it amusing that you are recommending 3 Idiots for people to watch :D Do you watch bollywoord movies ? I would recommend you to watch "Taare Zameen Par" which is film by same actor Amir Khan.

I would suggest you add Crash Course Computer Science to your recommendation list as it will help many new coders understand how things work.
