Hi!

this time its about the problem description of task 8. im not into math or nothin, but there is a part of the description that bothers me.

Quote: """"""""""""""""" Since so, arithmetic sequence is completely defined by the first member (A) and the increment value - step size - (B). First few members could be expressed as

A + (A + B) + (A + 2B) + (A + 3B) + ...

You are to calculate the sum of first members of arithmetic sequence. """""""""""""""""

My point is, that i think the Formular shown here is NOT an example of an "arithmetic sequence", but an example of the task to solve. But the place where its at, is supposed to describe a sequence, NOT THE SUM.

So i recommend to place this formular UNDER the Sentence "You are to calculate the sum of first members of arithmetic sequence.", and put the following Line instead:

A, (A + B), (A + 2B), (A + 3B), ...

Because to my eye THIS shows A SEQUENCE while A+B+C etc shows a SUM and is wierd to describe a sequence.

but as i said im nothing into math, so if this is the common way to "write" a sequence then im off ^-^

best regards Axel
