Hi Friends!

As some of you may notice, there is the temporary link to voting form (or survey) about people's feeling towards Ads and Donations (link is at the top of problem list page).

Let me briefly tell how is it going! Ads hopefully will be switched off at the end of this month (Feb 2020) as there are only about $5 left to reach pay-out limit of 100 - I just don't want to close AdSense account with money in it :)

About mugs and t-shirts - I've tested a couple local companies which produce them. T-shirts wear nicely (though being washed only about 4 times yet), as about mugs I'm still trying to decide between ceramic and metal (it's mainly about suffering shipping). I'll show pictures when I have design decided.

Meanwhile here are voting results - they look favorable, I think - over 30 colleagues have expressed their opinion during this month - thanks a lot:

  1. It looks people generally don't like ads, so it's definitely better to remove them :) Voting about Ads

  2. About donations there seem to be positive feeling - no problem that currently not everyone has best time for charity - web-site doesn't need too much to run: Voting about Donations

So I hope to have next updates on this topic soon! Thanks to you all, Friends!

Hello! I am part of the "I don't mind ads" and I would like to ask if "custom ads" will be removed too. I hope not, they seemed to be important but they are quite interesting!

Radovan, Hi!

No intention to remove "custom ads". Even probably we can later to include here links to some interesting projects of our colleagues, if any.

(though probably there could be dedicated switch to disable them if they are distracting)

One of the ideas about removing ads is that they sometimes has embarrassing or non-relevant content. (e.g. "free dating" or "mega-cool forex trading scheme" etc.) And we don't want to frighten people.
