Hi admins

i've been doing some challenges on your site... it's been a while now, due to circumstances... i recently discovered a site at wechall.net this site gathers your score from different challenge sites, so i thought it would be nice if yours was listed too. i think you need to get in touch with admins over there on how to do that it would be nice to introduce your beautiful site to a whole new crowd at once!

Hi Friend!

Thanks for suggestion, this looks curious, though I never heard of this site - and I don't see here in the list any websites I know - but after looking at the join instruction, probably I understand the reason.

you need to get in touch with admins over there

it looks we need to implement two small API endpoints which can tell their server whether given email is registered and what is the score for the user with such email.

while most probably it should be all right technically (I hope they won't bomb us with thousands requests at once to check every user) - but honestly I'm not 100% sure if by modern standards it is ok to share information about user's email being registered - a world is a bit crazy now about security and personal data %)

I'll try to read more about it or ask somewhere for guidance. However of course this won't help users who register via github, for example.

Hi there

i think that shouldn't be a problem. I am also registered on a site called 'Hack the Web' and this one doesn't store an e'mail address as well. Instead they give you a wechall-token (which kinda looks like an e-mail address)... with that you can easily fetch your score.
Also, not all sites you are registered are being updated automatically.. for some you need to click 'Update' yourselves, so no bombing!

But of course, the admins over there could tell you a lot more. grtz Klinsten
