Hi Rodion!

What can I do if I want to brag to a friend about my solution to a CodeAbbey problem? I know I should refrain from publishing the solutions.

The issue came up when I wanted to ask something to a friend who knows a lot about Go. I wanted to send the link of my solution but he cannot view it. I intended to ask him how he would code something because the way how I did it looks like Mr Beans coding.

Hi Özgür!

Well, there is nothing wrong in sharing the solution in non-public way (i.e. creating unlisted pastebin or github gist) - however, perhaps, let me think a bit - perhaps we can add small feature to share solution on the site by some secret link...

Well, probably it is ready: open your solution you want to share - and you should see cute shareable link above the code. Right-click and copy it - it should work even when not logged in, but it will expire in a week (you always can copy new one - it's just precaution that such links are not unintentionally published or indexed).

Hi, Özgür and Rodion

Just saw the forum post and wanted to confirm that the new feature works as expected.

Huge thanks for the page and maintaining it, Rodion :)

Hi Friend, thanks for you kind words - and for confirmation about new feature!

If by chance you are from National University of Colombia, can you please help me a bit - tell why its website currently shows me 403? Is it showing something different to you, or perhaps temporarily broken?

Hi Rodion!

Yesterday I shared a link with my Go teacher and we discussed about maps in Go among other things. He registered at CodeAbbey and quickly solved the CodeGuesser puzzle. Greetings to Hermann if he is reading this. I think it is extremely cool and friendly that you implemented this feature.

the unal.edu.co shows me 403 too

Thanks for feedback, and for checking the site! I dare say it's great to have a comrade willing to help and teach you! I'm struggling with Go on my own and while most annoying part is behind, I often found I miss something for no one was there to guide me :)

You are welcome. Hermann is not really my teacher. Together with Anton, he is a member of the Go team at Hyperskill. I learned a lot about Go from the their content.

It is none of my business but I want to point out that I think you can be a great project and topic author at Hyperskill.

Ah, I know this site! It is a project initially by JetBrains (the company behind many popular and powerful IDE's for programmers, Idea, Goland, PyCharm and other famous tools like TeamCity - and they created the language Kotlin, when Java was in stagnation phase - nowadays it is ubiquitous in Android projects).

A applied to positions in hyperskill.org probably couple of times some years ago :) Because they had large (or largest) department in our city. Never got an answer, perhaps, because they were mainly searching for full-stack Python dev at this point or something like this.

Honestly I doubt my meek skills are relevant to be an author at their level - and anyway for now it is probably out of question: the company left the country due to sad political issues and most probably has no simple means to cooperate with people here oficially.

And anyway hyperskill is a paid service now, if I remember correctly, while I prefer to create educational content free and equally accessible to everyone :) Nevertheless they are great guys, as I watched the project spinning-up due recent years - impressive job!

Hello, Rodion.

I'm really sorry for the ultra late answer, I've been busy and forgot about the post.

Yes, I'm from National University of Colombia. The page currently loads perfectly for me, but the 403 you had is because our webpage has been victim of several cyberattacks this year, and a lot ot pages are still down.

I also saw the logo in the frontpage, and I'm a huge fan of it :). Thanks for that feature as well
