Hi everyone! π
Iβm Arthur, a Physics student at the National University of Colombia. Iβm passionate about science and technology, and Iβve been learning programming for a while, especially Python and SQL. Iβm also exploring the world of machine learning and always looking for new challenges.
I love sharing knowledge and learning from the community. Thank you for this opportunity!
Also on a side note iβve been programming on a work basis for around two years, mostly solving non-related problems. I first got into coding because of homework, and while many problems were easy at first (taking about 20-ish lines of code), some were truly delightful and made me think. I really enjoyed the process!
I was part of a developer community some time ago, but I had to leave due to lack of time. Still, I aim for a higher certificate and drop by every now and then, hoping to find a needlessly hard problem to tackle. If thereβs a server or a way to link up with others, that would be awesomeβIβd love to share ideas! Most people here work on really tough problems, and while I donβt always have the time, Iβd still love to connect.
Looking forward to more challenges
Let me be blunt: in my opinion, you do not deserve a certificate as many of your solutions are not your own.
Yesterday, you submitted more than 30 solutions, often with only a minute between different solutions.
The coding style of these solutions is very inconsistent:
sometimes you use Spanish variable names, sometimes English ones, and the same goes for method names and comments.
Sometimes you use the if __name__ == "__main__" approach, sometimes you donβt.
And for good measure, there is the odd C\C++ solution β once more with different coding styles β
and even a random Java solution.
NOBODY varies their coding style that much that quickly. In short, you are a cheat.
ah well i could rewrite all of them in one language i just write code every now and then on spyder then later on i apply all of them and see which ones works and which dont, and sometimes i come after certain after college english classes so i practice english, and i will try later on implementing code with deutsch as im learning it,, as you may see im spanish talkative native so yeah.
and you see that i some days post a lot then not that a lot then again is more like i remember i had some left over codes and i search the problem even tho i could make more exercises on this month and then you can make a based on that
and i know some languages, im not only python orientated programmer so yeah, i could explain also because in python the ones like fibbonacci where hard to come up for me bc of the time it takes to process and is more easy to switch for a language with a more aproachable solution :/ (even tho i come up with a solution on python for those this is an example based of what i have experienced), so yeah is more that im a weirdo who just doesnt make up his mind and tries the code on platform and etc, but hey, whatever suits you
Hi Friend!
Thank for your effort of copying solutions from juaromeroor.
Regretfully it is not what we award certificates for. Nothing personal, but regretfully cheaters are not welcome in IT industry. Feel free to come back when you reconsider your approach to study :)
Sup, I just came back not to mess things up or anything, but simply to clarify that juaromeroor and I are friends at the University, and we solved and worked on some codes together with another friend. So yeah, I just wanted to clear my name and say that.
Also, I came back to check and saw I got banned, so yeah⦠I just hope this clears things up. I just wanted to make up for it if it disturbed some people.
Apart from that, I think everything else I did was my own work. But if the problem is with the ones I worked on with my friend, because it could be seen as stealing, then I donβt mind if you guys remove the last 30 or so solutions. Iβll eventually come up with those on my own, and this time Iβd try to get the certificate without teaming.
but just to be sure i don't forget anythin (just in case) i will provide this long list, hope it helps

Arthur, Hi - glad to see you back!
So yeah, I just wanted to clear my name and say that.
No worry, it is less or more ok to solve problems together, but of course it is not ok to claim certificate in such a case :) No one says you are "evil fraudster" or something like this :) just explaining that this case is not valid for granting certificate.
I donβt mind if you guys remove the last 30 or so solutions
honestly, it is a bit tedious work to reset that many tasks one by one, and I'm a bit tired to do it carefully - so perhaps as you created new account anyway, feel free to go on with it. It should be all right to copy solutions which you are quite sure are yours, while writing others from scratch. It would be also good idea to put the link to the older profile into the user's info of the new profile, so that solutions matching on two accounts have obvious explanation.
Good luck!
