Problem 78 (Bezier Curves)

Hello everyone.

There is a note in problem 78 (Bezier Curves): the values for alpha should be calculated by dividing the range 0.0 ... 1.0 into N - 1 equal steps.

I just want to know, what does the "dividing the range 0.0 ... 1.0 into N - 1 equal steps" mean?
